MAIN STUDIO HIRE AGREEMENT - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Studio is available for the exclusive use of the Client named in this agreement and the Client is not permitted to sub-contract or sub-let any third party to utilise the Studio without the prior consent of Hoxa Headquarters.

2. No alterations or additions to the Studio are permitted without the consent of Hoxa Headquarters.

3. Hoxa Headquarters shall not be liable to the Client for any loss damage expense liability or for any consequential loss (including loss of profit) whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with any of the following:

a) any damage to or loss of property by the client or the Client’s servants or agents or any third party.

b) any breakdown stoppage or failure of the Facilities and Equipment provided in the Studio or any other Equipment supplied to the Client by Hoxa Headquarters, however any failure in Services or Facilities will be rectified within 24 hours or as soon as possible.

c) any death or injury occasioned to any client or servant or agent of any client occasioned by the use of the Studio or any Equipment unless such death or injury is directly attributable to the negligence of Hoxa Headquarters or the servants or agents of Hoxa Headquarters.

d) for any fines and/or legal costs incurred by Hoxa Headquarters or the Client for any activity connected with the hire of the Studio or Equipment.

e) any failure on the part of Hoxa Headquarters to comply with its obligations to the Client due to any circumstances beyond the control of Hoxa Headquarters.

4. Hoxa Headquarters will use best endeavours to keep all Facilities in reasonable working order and rectify any stoppage or failure of the Facilities and Services provided as soon as possible.

5. Hoxa Headquarters will insure the Studio against all normal insurable risks but not further or otherwise. The Client must effect its own insurance cover against consequential loss of profit and other Risks and must effect its own cover against loss, damage or theft of any of its own equipment brought onto the Studio. Under no circumstances will Hoxa Headquarters entertain any claims arising out of any failure of the Client to effect its own insurance cover. The Client must ensure that their Public Liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use to cover any accident, injury or death.

6. The Client is responsible for any breakages, loss or damage occasioned to the Equipment or the Studio caused by or arising from the Client use thereof or by any servant agent employee or sub- contractor of the client.

7. The Studio operates a 12 hour day, 10am to 10pm. If the Client requires longer or different hours, this will need to be agreed in advance of the hire date. If a Studio Assistant is present and the hours exceed 11pm, taxi fares will need to be paid directly to the assistant. 

8. Studio Assistants/Engineers fees are agreed in advance. Fees cover an eight hour day. Overtime is charged at £10 per hour for assistant and £20 per hour for engineer. Studio Personnel invoice separately to studio hire, unless arranged otherwise.

9. These Conditions constitute the entire contract and may not be varied otherwise than in writing signed by a duly authorised signatory on behalf of Hoxa Headquarters.

Cancellation Policy

While we understand that in certain circumstances clients need to cancel sessions, this however causes a financial inconvenience not only to the studio but the studio assistant / engineer too.

Any session(s) cancelled within a 48 hour period of the session start date, will be charged 50% of total booking fee to cover the loss of booking for the studio and assistant / engineer.. Any sessions cancelled on the day of a session will require full payment.

Services and Facilities provided

  • Use of Main Studio – tracking facility including a large control room, live room, two booths, two iso areas.

  • Use of common parts – kitchen, lounge area and toilets

  • Heating in the property

  • Electricity in the property

  • Cleaning of the property

  • Air conditioning 

  • Fire alarm system 

  • Security alarm system 

  • Internet
